Certification
What is ISO 17025?
ISO 17025 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for the competence of laboratories conducting tests and calibrations. This standard is essential to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results across various fields, including environmental, chemical, biological, and physical testing. ISO 17025 accreditation guarantees:
- Credibility and Reputation: It demonstrates that GericoLAB can produce results with confidentiality, impartiality, and operational neutrality, while meeting measurement uncertainty requirements.
- Efficiency and Effectiveness: Optimization of human resource expertise and technical resources to improve efficiency.
- Risk Reduction: A solid framework for identifying and managing risks associated with laboratory activities.

GERICO Lab - Ethical Hacking e Red Team
Gerico LAB is an ACCREDIA-accredited laboratory, specializing in the execution of Vulnerability Assessments according to testing methods NIST 800-115:2008, NIST SP 800-37:2018, and NIST SP 800-53:2020.
A Vulnerability Assessment (VA) is an activity aimed at identifying the vulnerabilities of a system without attempting to exploit them. This type of assessment is conducted on dedicated information systems, developed by their respective operators for the provision of eIDAS services, SPID, and for long-term data preservation.
The testing report issued, in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, lists all the vulnerabilities detected during the measurement activity.
Vulnerability Assessments performed by ISO 17025 accredited laboratories are essential for all companies providing trust services subject to eIDAS or SPID regulations, in order to maintain their accreditation.
