Certification

The ISO 20000 standard is a valuable tool for companies looking to enhance the management of their IT services and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
This certification is suitable for all organizations that provide IT services, whether internally or externally, regardless of their size or industry.

What is ISO 20000?

ISO 20000 is an international standard for IT Service Management (ITSM), designed to ensure consistency in managing IT services and infrastructures whether handled internally or outsourced.
This standard defines what an organization must do to implement an effective IT service management strategy, covering key processes such as: Service Level Reporting, IT Service Monitoring & Accounting, Information Security Management, Supplier & Vendor Management, Change & Update Management. The goal is to enhance service continuity, process efficiency, and user satisfaction, while promoting a process-based approach to IT service delivery.

The latest revision of ISO 20000-1:2018 introduces:

  • A new High-Level Structure (HLS). It aligns ISO 20000 with other management systems like ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security), making it easy for companies to integrate different management systems
  • Dual-Level of the Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle (PDCA). A PDCA cycle: organizational cycle (the management system).
  • Scope, context and Risk Analysis also for ISO 20000-1:2018.
